Aim
Whilst innovation is often about embracing the latest AI and technology, in this increasingly digital age, harnessing the power of human connection to truly engage an audience and inspire creativity is critical to success. Emotional intelligence (EQI) is the ability to identify, understand and manage your emotions and identify, understand and influence the emotions of others. This session is designed to be an introductory session to EQI and the benefits or barriers to innovation within your organisation. By the end of the course participants will have
- A greater understanding of Emotional Intelligence and how it applies to innovation
- Reviewed the strengths & weaknesses of their working environment in terms of EQi
- Focussed on a couple of critical elements that can really drive success
Content
This session will include:
- Background of Emotional Intelligence using the EQi 2.0 Model
- An opportunity to review the current highs and lows of emotional intelligence within your organisation and how that may benefit of hinder innovation
- A deeper dive into
- Interpersonal relationships and collaboration
- Empathy and using empathy mapping
- Reality Testing and avoiding personal bias
